MISSION, FAITH, VISION, COVENANT

 Our Mission

The mission of Fellowship Christian Church is:
- To inform the world about Jesus Christ and to encourage growth, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, given by God the Father

Statement of Faith

We believe all people are created of God. We believe that there is only one living and true God. God is recognized as an intelligent, spiritual, forgiving, and personal Being, the Creator, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. God is infinite in holiness and all other perfections to whom we receive the opportunity of life. God is revealed to us as the triune God: God as the Father, Jesus Christ as our Savior, and the Holy Spirit as our Comforter and daily guide, each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being.

We believe in the Holy Bible, written by men divinely inspired that has God for its author, salvation for its end, and the only and final truth without any mixture of error. As the sole written Word of God reveals the principles by which God desires us to live and therefore is the true center of Christian living and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, opinions and decisions should be tried. Where the Word of God is not explicit, we accept the life of Jesus as our living example in all areas of life.

We believe in the beginning as both man and woman we were created in a state of holiness and perfection under the direct will of God, but through the disobedience of original man, who transgressed and fell from holiness and perfection, we are all born sinners and separated from God. We believe Jesus, who is the Son of God, gave His life and was resurrected, is the redeemer of mankind, through whom we can be redeemed and our relationship restored unto God.

We believe salvation is made free to all by the acknowledgment of our sinful state, the belief and acceptance in the gospel of Jesus Christ as Savior, and the confession of our sins. As restored men and women we accept our responsibility as both witnesses and perpetuators of the Christian faith. With salvation we recognize as members of the Christian body we are free to seek our calling through the duty of discipleship in Christ Jesus.

We believe through discipleship we affirm and commit ourselves to the rights of men, women, children, youth, young adults, the aging for the improvement of quality of life; and to the rights and dignity of racial, ethnic, and religious peoples.
